Refund Policy

Last updated: September 27, 2026

Refund terms depend on where you purchased your RyanPlugins product. Please find your purchase channel below.

CodeCanyon Purchases

Plugins purchased through CodeCanyon are subject to Envato’s Buyer Terms and refund policy, not this page. Envato reviews and approves all CodeCanyon refund requests directly. To request a refund, contact Envato Support with your purchase code.

Patreon Purchases

RyanPlugins products are available on Patreon as either a recurring membership or a one-time purchase. Refunds for Patreon purchases are requested and processed through Patreon, not through this site.

How to Request a Refund

Refunds are requested directly from your Patreon account, not by contacting RyanPlugins:

  1. Go to your Patreon Billing History settings.
  2. Find the payment you’d like refunded and click the three dots next to it.
  3. Select Request refund, choose a reason, and submit.

Refund requests must be submitted within 60 days of the original payment. As the creator, we review each request and decide whether to approve or decline it; you’ll be notified of the outcome by Patreon. If your purchase falls outside the 60-day window, or was a per-creation charge, Patreon directs you to contact their Product Support directly instead.

Our Refund Guidelines

When reviewing a refund request, we generally follow these guidelines:

  • Recurring memberships: charges are billed automatically at the start of each cycle. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current cycle — you keep access through the end of the period already paid for.
  • One-time purchases: generally final, but we will approve a refund if the plugin is defective and our support team could not resolve the issue via the Contact page.
  • Accidental or mistaken purchases: requests made within 48 hours of purchase are reviewed favorably on a case-by-case basis. Repeated requests from the same account may not be approved.

Approving or declining a submitted request is handled entirely within Patreon; we are not able to issue refunds outside of Patreon’s refund flow.

WordPress.org Plugins

Plugins distributed through the WordPress.org repository are free, open-source software (GPL) and are not sold, so no refund applies.

Direct Purchases (ryanplugins.net)

For licenses or add-ons purchased directly through ryanplugins.net, we offer a refund within 7 days of purchase if the plugin does not function as described and our support team is unable to resolve the issue. Refund requests must be submitted through our Contact page and include your order number and a description of the problem. Refunds are not offered for change-of-mind, incompatibility with third-party plugins/themes not listed as supported, or after the 7-day window.
